Again, you're accusing me of switching positions from a position I never actually took. I said there are no PS3 exclusives in that article, never did I say there aren't any at all.
I presumed the article is about the best games, notable games, whatever.. but that's obviously what it is. And it's no surprise the games rainslacker lists aren't on there. You actually implied in a previous comment that you weren't aware of them, such is their significance!...
Actually, I never said 'no exclusives' or 'those don't count'.
I said 'none in that article' then noted important details which hugely discredit rainslacker's list, such as the fact that one of his games is ALREADY OUT. The article appears to be suggesting those games don't count though, by way of excluding them.
But yeah, spin. Only thing that's rotating is spit-roasted cHicken.
Bold prediction, I remember reading similar ones about PS3.
No-one can really say what the lay of the land will be in four years' time, I suspect PS4 will go ahead at first due to launching in more regions, while Titanfall, Halo 5 and a possible price drop will see the Xbox One gain ground in 2014. That's my expert analysis.
It doesn't appear to be a Sony site.. would be really cheeky if it was!
The article didn't mention these because it was presumably trying to highlight the best titles coming to current gen, rather than scraping the barrel (GT6 aside, obviously).
Among your list are a 2012 game getting a 2014 localisation, a port of a questionable 2011 fighter, a Vita game and an HD remake. Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus comes out today so you can stroke that off too.
'Continued support', as noted in the comment I replied to, impl...
Not too many PS3 exclusives in that article - well, none actually.
Along with Pikmin 3, NSMBU/LU, Wind Waker HD and Rayman Legends, that's exactly what I'm telling you!
Yes. Of everything coming out this winter, Mario World is THE game. And since Wii U already has a nice library, it's as good a choice as any for new console buyers.
Probably the best eight hours of gamin' this year?
They also made games like Viva Pinata and Nuts & Bolts which were as good as much of their back catalogue, and Kinect Sports: Rivals seems to be shaping up.
It's probably better not to know about shelved games from ANY company because you'll always wonder, without ever actually knowing what the game was like.
That 'grown up' Kameo 2 artwork though.. yeah..
Na, it's a total curb-stomping. Only round one though..
It's pretty obvious that Microsoft would object to someone splashing a whole bunch of previously unknown Xbox One information over the internet.
While the details were interesting I don't know if I'd have done the same thing in his position - particularly now that launch is so close anyway.
Xbox One pretty much murders the other guy for exclusives at the minute, but it's early days.
Really impressive stuff, and it's a shame they didn't show this off sooner.
If all of those games make it in 2014.. damn..
I don't like selling my old consoles if it's at all avoidable.
It's always nice to go back and try a few games you missed.
As soon as possible.. you know you're buying it eventually anyway!
Lovely writeup. Sometimes a half-assed effort to weld on another style of play ends up lessening the overall game, so I'm okay with this being a dedicated brawler.
It's basic complexity and skill stuff, dude - the more casual the game is the more easy it is to master.
But if you just bumble your way through without trying to get better you're not likely to have much fun.
Seems like this game is going melt faces.
Damn.. could this be a dark horse for GOTY?
